For UK Wealth Management
BETA · NOW ONBOARDING

The wealth management operating system.

Run your whole advice firm by voice. Ava does the work, you sign it off.

One single integrated platform, supporting you and your team from first-meeting note-taking, through new and existing clients' suitability letters, to serving your clients across the whole journey.

One platform for new client acquisition, existing client retention, and preserving your own personal time.

One platform instead of six disconnected subscriptions.

Advice is a long game, a marathon in maintaining successful client relationships as much as a sprint in serving them through fast, efficient delivery. You plan for decades. Ava makes sure you deliver on your promises, on time, every time.

01The problem

Disconnected tools don't just cost you money. They stop your firm's growth.

The real hidden cost is not the subscriptions. It is the time wasted on tools that do not talk to each other, tools that do not know your clients or you, tools that keep advisers in admin instead of advising, creating value for clients and revenue for the firm.

Advisers spend only about a third of the day with clients; the rest disappears into report prep, compliance and re-keying the same information again and again into systems that never remember your clients or how you work, leaving no time to prospect, let alone meet new clients.

So the firm cannot grow, neither in adviser numbers nor in Funds Under Management.

No foundation course, no test to book. If you can talk, you're already a certified user.

Walk in prepared. Every single time.

Your tools hold data. They do not know you. Ava does. One memory across the whole firm: your clients, your preferences, the way you work. Say it once, the client detail or the instruction, and never key it or explain it to a system again. That is what intelligence actually means.

A separate subscription for every job, none of them connected, none of them aware of the client in front of you. Does any of it help you close more clients?

  • Compliance bolted on after the fact, never at the foundation.
  • Avagance snaps the stack into one platform.

Module · Ava

The agent at the centre.

Voice or text. Ava prepares the work, runs the actions across every module, and hands the result to a human for sign-off. A presence in the firm, not a chat window in the corner. A presence that knows your clients and knows you, so you never brief it from scratch.

  • Ask in plain English. Ava knows which module to use.
  • Speaks back, or writes back. You choose.
  • Narrates the next action, so nothing happens silently.

Bring in a young adviser, safely.

Ava does the work, the senior signs off. It's a safer way to bring a junior into the industry, with senior oversight and a compliance trail on every step, and it can help a small team take on more clients.

Not "fire your staff." One adviser serving 200 clients instead of 100.

Asks Ava

Two years in, running a real meeting, because Ava carries the depth they haven't built yet. You don't teach them the platform either. Ava does that, so your day stays your day.

  3. 3Produces the draft report

Their judgement is the control point, not their typing speed. One senior oversees far more.

  2. 2Checks the compliance trail

The 9th · the green

Profitable advice at any level of client assets.

Not all advisers serve the same clients. Some need complex advice on the millions in a family estate; others on the £50K someone worked hard to save. Avagance serves both, from mass affluent to HNW and UHNW, making even the sub-£100K client profitable for a beginning adviser or a small firm, while saving larger practices time, subscription and support-staff cost.

  • Reach the 91% who can't get advice today.
  • Double your capacity with the same team.
  • Ava is available to your clients 24/7, even when you are not.
These are the economics the model is designed to support, not a guarantee.

03The rally

How human and AI play together.

Same point, played two ways. The stack today is a boxing match: six disconnected tools gang up on one adviser until the bell. With Avagance it is a rally, Ava serves the work, you return the judgement, and the winning shot is a human sign-off.

Six disconnected tools gang up on one adviser. Press play.

You, the adviser, are always in control. Ava prepares, drafts and runs the actions; you or your junior advisers review, confirm and sign off. Sensitive cases, such as those relating to bereavement, illness or divorce, are only ever human-led, and never handled by Ava alone.

04Pick your role

No matter how you prefer to work, Ava always works around you.

Pick a role and see how the platform assists, never replaces, the human doing the job.

Administrator

The filing does itself.

Ava fills the forms, files the notes, keeps every client record current, and scans LOAs straight into clients' records by voice. You and your junior advisers spend the day on people, not paperwork. Your support staff can fill and file forms on behalf of any adviser.

Paraplanner

First drafts, in minutes.

Suitability reports and annual review letters drafted from advisers' notes, with client and external providers' information populated automatically, never invented. You refine and produce; the adviser signs off. You can build your own letter templates inside the platform.

Junior adviser

Run a successful meeting from day one.

Ava provides the depth and knowledge you have not built yet, prepping the meeting, performing the portfolio analysis, construction and research, and producing cash-flow plans for you to present. After the client agrees, it prepares every document for sign-up. You learn the job properly, on the job, with oversight and a compliance trail designed to reduce the risk of mistakes reaching the client.

Senior adviser

Your judgement, not your typing speed.

Review the suitability letter draft and rationale, check the compliance trail, approve and deliver to the client quicker and easier than ever. Free up time to serve more clients and finally grow your FUM and your firm.

05The numbers that matter

The industry is ageing, and the biggest wealth transfer in history is underway. We're building the system that lets good firms grow into it.

Generic AI will tell anyone what to invest in, then add "not financial advice." Confident, and accountable to no one.

The FCA's new targeted support regime, live since April 2026, lets authorised firms give ready-made help to the millions who can't get full advice, with a real firm standing behind it. The hard part is delivering it.

Avagance runs the whole journey, so even a small or starting firm can offer it, and larger firms can serve far more, without adding headcount.

07Who built it

A small team that built the whole thing through the lens of the adviser and the client.

We started from the simplest question. What do I actually need from an adviser? Then we built the system that answers it.

Core team
Lithika Ranepura

Lithika Ranepura

Co-Founder and CEO

Lithika built Avagance from the client's side of the desk, starting from one question: what does an adviser actually do that a machine cannot? Everything in the platform exists to protect that answer, not replace it.

He builds things and finishes them. He took a specialist clinic from zero to a clean exit at twice its annual net profit, running it remotely on systems and documentation alone while completing an MSc in Investments. That is where his instinct for Avagance comes from: keep the hard engineering underneath, where the client never sees it, and make the surface simple enough to trust.

An engineer before he was an investor, he pairs that build discipline with genuine quant depth. His MSc dissertation built a novel hybrid forecasting model that outperformed the standard statistical benchmark, then spent as much effort making its reasoning transparent, on the view that a forecast is only useful when an adviser can explain it to a client who just watched the news and is worried about their pension. That view runs right through Ava.

Focus
  • Agentic AI for the real workflow of an advice firm, from lead to suitability report to provider
  • Hard systems that stay simple and explainable, for both the adviser and the client
  • Making good advice profitable to deliver at every level of client assets
LinkedIn
Dinuwan Fernando

Dinuwan Fernando

Co-Founder and CTO

Dinuwan is the engineer behind the platform. He architected and built Avagance end to end, from the database schema to the API layer to the advisor portal to the AI agents sitting on top, without outsourcing a line of it.

His defining rule is a simple one: a wrong number is worse than no number. In software that advisers repeat to clients, a valuation that quietly shows zero because a data feed is down is not a UI bug, it is a compliance risk. So he built that principle into the system itself, where every calculation returns a clear result, an honest "unavailable", or an error with a reason, and no part of the platform is allowed to invent a fallback. That instinct for what to refuse to display is what makes him the right person to build software for a regulated profession.

A software engineering graduate from the University of Plymouth, he came to this through machine learning. His final year project built a credit-scoring model for corporate and retail lending, and the lesson that stuck was not the accuracy score but what happens when a model is confidently wrong. It shaped how he builds AI for financial services now: fairness, transparency and proper checks, from the start.

Focus
  • Architecting and building the full Avagance platform, from data layer to AI orchestration
  • Correctness and safety in numeric output, the difference between a demo and a product advisers can trust
  • Applied ML with fairness and explainability, built for a regulated profession

Maria Psarra

Founding Product Advisor

Maria is the adviser in the room. She runs her own advice firm, so every product decision gets tested against how advice is actually delivered and how a practice actually runs, not a theory of either.

She is Founder and Director of Iris Wealth Management, a Partner Practice of St. James's Place, advising high-net-worth individuals, couples and families on investment, retirement, protection and estate planning, and holds the CISI Level 6 Certificate in Advanced Financial Planning. Before advice, she spent years in the markets, starting in fixed income derivatives in 2010 and going on to head trading desks at JNF Capital, Prime Wealth Group and ZAI Capital Markets.

She is also well known beyond the desk: a monthly columnist for Master Investor Magazine, a presenter on Tip TV, the author of 18 Smart Ways to Improve Your Trading, and a familiar name in magazines like Entrepreneur UK and International Business Times. She knows how to make a complicated subject land, which is exactly what advice, and Avagance, has to do.

Focus
  • The real workflow of a UK advice practice, from the adviser's and the business owner's seat
  • HNW investment, retirement, protection and estate planning
  • Wealth accumulation, preservation and transfer through tax-efficient structures

Mel Abplanalp

Mel Abplanalp

Founding Operations Advisor

Mel has done almost every job in an advice firm. Administrator, paraplanner, financial planner, and finally operations leader. That full run through the profession is exactly why she is here: she can tell the difference between a feature that actually helps a practice and one that just looks good in a demo.

She spent a decade inside financial planning operations, most recently as Head of Operations at Emery Little and before that in the same role at Buckingham Gate Chartered Financial Planners, with earlier spells at St. James's Place, Smith & Williamson and Black Swan. She is DipPFS qualified with the Chartered Insurance Institute and holds a Certificate in ESG Investing from CFA UK. Few people understand what it takes to run a modern advice business from as many angles as she does.

Her job at Avagance is to keep the platform honest. She shapes the workflows so they make sense with a human in the loop, where the AI does the work and the adviser stays in control, and she holds every feature to one test: is this actually useful, or just nice to have?

Focus
  • How an advice practice runs day to day, from administration to paraplanning to operations leadership
  • Workflows that make sense with a human in the loop, useful over nice to have
  • Turning operational reality into product that advisers and their teams will actually use

Why Sanat

Sanat has spent his career building the kind of software we are building: financial platforms, at scale, inside regulated firms, and more recently with AI doing real work in production. He has enabled engineering at some of the biggest names in finance, and has shipped AI into environments where accuracy and oversight are not optional. That mix of deep financial engineering and practical AI is exactly the experience we wanted guiding the build.

Track record

At JPMorgan he ran the engineering behind their ETF platform, more than 200 funds across the UK, Asia and the US, all inside a bank with strict regulatory controls. At Citi and ICAP he built the trading systems used by professional FX traders. At Acorns, the US investing app, he enabled the engineering team behind a product used by millions of everyday savers. At EvolutionIQ he built a platform engineering team from nothing, enabled around 110 engineers, and shipped the AI that pulls answers out of huge libraries of medical and claims documents, with proper checks on accuracy and governance. He is now building his own AI-native fintech platform, PayFence.

Focus
  • Building financial software inside regulated environments
  • Putting AI into production where accuracy genuinely matters
  • Scaling engineering teams and platforms as a business grows
  • Knowing when AI is the right tool and when it is not
