One operating system, not another point tool.
Most AI tools for advisers do one job: take the meeting notes, or draft the report, or check compliance. Avagance runs the whole journey in one system, notes to facts to advice to compliance to send, with a human sign-off on everything. Here is how it stacks up against the field. Prefer a one-to-one? vs Intelliflo IQ, vs AdvisoryAI, vs Marloo, vs ChatGPT, vs Outsourced paraplanning, vs Aveni, vs Dynamic Planner, vs Saturn, vs Templi, vs Ammonite.

Where Avagance is alone
Capabilities in the platform that no competitor ships today.
Per-client agentic canvas
A live, per-client workspace, not a document template. Competitors draft artifacts; none give the adviser a persistent agentic surface per client.
Ask for the task, not the button
Tell Ava what you want done and she does it, including moving through the platform on your behalf. Everywhere else you still drive the software yourself.
One fail-closed send-gate
Every client-facing artifact, report, letter, email or advice, passes one gate with numbers engine-resolved and a four-eyes sign-off the model can't bypass.
Cashflow and research, built in
Cashflow planning and market analysis run inside the platform on the same client record, so neither is a separate subscription. Voyant stays connected two ways for firms that want it.
The paperwork, end to end
Generate a letter of authority, send it, and fill the provider forms without leaving the system. Most tools stop at the report and hand the admin back to you.
One OS, not a stack
Notes to facts to advice to compliance to send to CRM in a single system. Buyers otherwise stitch a note-taker, a report tool and a checker together.
How each tool is positioned
Intelliflo IQ
The dominant back-office system, strong today on fact-find auto-fill and owning the CRM and client portal. Its compliance, advice and agentic AI (IQ) are largely announced for later. Avagance connects to Intelliflo, so you keep it as your system of record and run the intelligent workflow above it.
AdvisoryAI
The closest AI-native competitor, strong on document drafting (notes, reports, compliance). The gaps against Avagance: no per-client agentic canvas, no whole-of-market advice generation, no single fail-closed send-gate, and no voice assistant.
Marloo
Meeting AI, a client timeline, "Ask Marloo" and form auto-fill. Strongest on admin capture; lightest of the three on UK compliance depth and advice generation. Avagance covers the capture Marloo does and continues through advice and a fail-closed compliance gate.
ChatGPT
A strong general reasoning and drafting tool with no knowledge of your firm. Every task starts by pasting context in, output varies run to run, and nothing is recorded as evidence. Useful for thinking out loud and for non-client work. Not a system for running regulated advice.
Outsourced paraplanning
A genuine expert service rather than a product. Strong on complex cases where senior judgement is the point, and on short-term overflow. The trade-offs are turnaround measured in working days, a cost that rises with every case you submit, and quality that varies by provider and by who picks up your file.
Aveni
Strong on quality assurance, risk monitoring and Consumer Duty oversight, with real depth in conversational analysis and a financial-services model of its own. Built to sit across a large book. Lighter on producing the advice itself: cashflow planning, market research, provider paperwork and the send-gate aren't what it's for.
Dynamic Planner
A deep, mature platform built around risk profiling and the review process, with cashflow, research and suitability alongside it. Two decades of credibility and used across a large share of the market. The gaps against Avagance are agentic: no per-client workspace, no voice, no adviser mobile app, and the paperwork after the recommendation is still yours to do.
Saturn
Compliance-led, with genuine depth in oversight and file quality, sold as a full platform from day one to firms willing to adopt its structure. The trade-offs are template rigidity, no research surface to take you from product to advice, and a shape that suits a larger firm with a compliance function rather than a principal doing 4 jobs.
Templi
Meeting capture plus an agentic paraplanner drafting into your own Word templates, with a live Intelliflo connection and calendar sync before the meeting. Founder-led and responsive. It stops at the document: no compliance module, no file checking, no cashflow or research, and the adviser mobile app is announced rather than shipped.
Ammonite
A focused document-generation platform with unusually good template control and credible pedigree, plus one of the clearest data positions in the market: it states it does not store client data or use it to train models. What it doesn't do is capture the meeting, check the file, run cashflow or research, handle provider paperwork, or gate what leaves the firm.
How to read this. "Full" means a shipped capability in the Avagance advisor portal, or a documented shipped feature of the named competitor. "Partial" means limited or adjacent, "Roadmap" means announced but not yet shipped, and "Not offered" means no public equivalent.
Fairness. Competitor columns are a best-read of public product information as of July 2026 and may understate unreleased or partner-delivered features. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Found something out of date? Tell us and we'll fix it.
