Avagance — Cookie Notice
Last updated: 20 August 2026
1. About this notice
This Cookie Notice explains how Avagance Limited ("Avagance", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at https://avagance.com (the "Website").
It covers the public marketing pages, the waitlist / get-started and contact forms, and the partner-program registration flow. Section 7 also covers our live chat where it runs inside the signed-in Avagance platform (the "Platform"), because the rules on placing cookies apply to that device storage wherever it happens. It should be read together with our Website Privacy Notice.
Avagance Limited is registered in England and Wales under company number 15991387, registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.
Avagance Limited was formerly registered as Bro In Finance Ltd. The legal entity, company number and registered office are unchanged; only the name has changed.
2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies — such as local/session storage, pixels, tags and SDKs — which we refer to collectively as "cookies". Where something is stored in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, we say so in the tables in section 6, because the rules that apply are the same.
Cookies may be first-party (set by Avagance) or third-party (set by another provider, such as an analytics, security, live-chat or partner-tracking service), and session (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent (kept for a set period or until you delete them).
3. Why we use cookies
We use cookies to:
- make the Website and its forms work, and keep them secure;
- protect our forms against spam, bots and abuse;
- remember your preferences (including your cookie choices);
- where you consent, understand how the Website is used so we can improve it (section 6b);
- where you consent, run our live chat so it is ready without you having to ask for it (section 6c and section 7); and
- where you consent, attribute referrals from our partner program so we can credit the partner who referred you (section 6d and section 8).
Nothing in the optional categories is set until you choose it. Before you answer the cookie banner, the only things stored are the strictly necessary items in section 6a. If you reject non-essential cookies, the only thing we store is the record of that choice.
4. Categories of cookies we use
a) Strictly necessary — required for the Website and its forms to function, including security and bot/abuse protection, and to remember your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off through our consent tool, and do not require consent under PECR, but we tell you about them here.
b) Analytics / performance (optional) — help us understand how visitors use the Website. Set only with your consent, and you can opt out at any time.
c) Functional (optional) — run our live chat and remember choices such as whether you have closed an on-site notice. Set only with your consent, or when you ask for the service they support (see section 7).
d) Partner & referral attribution (optional) — used to credit the partner who referred you. Set only with your consent (see section 8).
We set no advertising cookies. We do not run cross-site tracking or retargeting, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not share cookie data with ad networks. The partner cookie in category (d) exists to pay a referrer, not to follow you around the internet.
5. Your choices and how to manage cookies
The cookie banner. On your first visit we ask for your consent to everything except the strictly necessary cookies. The banner offers, side by side:
- Accept all — turns on every optional category;
- Reject non-essential — turns them all off, and is exactly as easy as accepting; and
- Manage — a per-category panel where you can switch Analytics, Partner / referral and Live chat on or off independently, then save.
Changing your mind. You can reopen the panel and change or withdraw any consent at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer, and refusing there is a single click, exactly like accepting. A change takes effect immediately: we stop loading anything in a category you have switched off, and we delete the cookies and stored items that category had already set on this site. A provider still running in the page you are looking at may write one back before you navigate away, so if you want to be certain, reload or clear this site's data in your browser.
Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies:
- Google Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Apple Safari — Settings/Preferences → Privacy
- Microsoft Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions
- Mozilla Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security
General guidance: aboutcookies.org and allaboutcookies.org.
Please note: if you block strictly necessary cookies, the Website's forms and security features may not work correctly.
6. The cookies we set
Checked against the live site on 20 August 2026. "Local storage" means the item is kept in your browser's storage rather than in a cookie; it is not sent to a server with each request, but you can clear it the same way.

6e. Advertising
None. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
7. Live chat, on the Website and in the Platform
We offer a live chat, provided by Tawk.to. The chat sets its own cookies and local storage (listed in section 6c) so a conversation stays together as you move between pages, and so we can recognise you if you come back to an open conversation.
- We do not load the chat provider on page load for someone who has not asked for it. If you switch Live chat on in the cookie banner (which "Accept all" does), it loads as normal. Otherwise we show our own button, which sets nothing at all, and the provider loads only when you click it — that click is your request for chat, so the storage it then needs is what PECR treats as strictly necessary for a service you asked for.
- Turning the Live chat category off refuses chat cookies being set for you; it does not take the support route away. The button stays, and clicking it is a fresh request.
- Once you have opened the chat, we remember that on your device so it is ready next time. Clearing this site's data clears it.
- In the signed-in Platform, where we run the same chat, the same rule applies: nothing loads until you ask for it or agree to it, and your choice is recorded by the Platform's own cookie banner rather than the Website's. The Platform sets its own strictly necessary cookies to sign you in and keep your session secure, and it will have its own cookie notice.
- Tawk.to processes chat data under its own privacy and cookie policy, see https://www.tawk.to/privacy-policy/. Please do not send client-identifiable or other confidential information through live chat — it is for help with Avagance itself. For anything client-specific, use the platform or email us.
8. Partner-program cookies
We operate an partner program. When someone follows an partner registration/referral link to our Website (for example, a link containing a referral parameter such as ?ref=, ?aff= or ?via=), we may set a cookie that records which partner referred you, so that if you go on to register or subscribe, the referral can be attributed to that partner and any commission calculated correctly.
- These are non-essential cookies used for attribution, so we set them only with your consent, and nothing is set for a visitor who has not accepted them.
- They record an partner/referral identifier and the date of the referral, and persist for a defined attribution window (currently 60 days).
- Partner tracking runs through a third-party partner platform (PromoteKit), which sets its own cookies and processes data under its own privacy and cookie policy — see https://promotekit.com/privacy.
- If you decline partner cookies, you can still use the Website and register; we simply may not be able to attribute the referral to an partner.
If you are an partner registering to join the program, note that we also process the registration details you provide (such as your name, email and payment details) as described in our Website Privacy Notice; those details are collected through the form, not through cookies.
9. Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the Website, so we can see which pages are useful and which are not. It sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_<container>) that give your browser a random identifier.
- These are non-essential, so we do not load Google Analytics until you switch analytics on. Until then no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is sent.
- We run Google's Consent Mode, and every storage type starts as denied. Consenting grants analytics storage only; we do not grant advertising storage or personalisation.
- We use the data in aggregate to measure traffic and page performance. We do not use it to build a marketing profile of you, and we do not run Google Ads remarketing from it.
- Google processes this data under its own terms, see https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://business.safety.google/privacy/.
- If you decline, the Website works exactly as it does otherwise.
10. Do Not Track
There is currently no consistent industry standard for "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals, so our Website may not respond to them. We honour the choices you make through our consent tool and browser settings.
11. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party providers that help us operate, secure, measure, support or run the partner program (for example, our bot-protection, analytics, live-chat and partner-tracking providers, named in section 6). Those providers process data under their own privacy and cookie policies and, where they act as our processors, under our contracts with them. Some of them are outside the UK; our Website Privacy Notice explains the safeguards we use for that. The Website may also link to third-party sites we do not control; this notice does not cover their cookies.
12. Changes to this notice
We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time — for example, when the cookies we use, the providers we use, or the partner mechanism change. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, ask for your consent again.
